Here’s How your Customers Can Make the Best of Soapberries from Nepal

In the Washing Machine

Our Soapberries come with small cloth bags in which to place around five Soapberries before putting the bag into the washing machine along with the clothes.  More berries might be needed, depending on the size of the wash. To make them more effective it is recommended customers  soak the Soapberries in hot water first and add both the berries and the water to the machine. Adding a spoonful of vinegar or baking soda can also enhance the effectiveness of the berries.  Soapberries are re-usable for 5 or 6 washes, after which they need to be thrown away in the organic bin or composted in the garden.

The Soapberries can be used for five or six washes, but please note, the more ‘used’ the berries are the less effective they will be on very dirty clothes. Adding a spoonful of vinegar or baking soda can also enhance the effectiveness of the berries.

As a Liquid Cleaner

Soapberry liquid can be made by consumers at home and used as either a liquid washing detergent or as a multi-purpose household cleaner.
